GUIDELINE FOR SETTING UP VEHICLE WRAP ART FILES
- Acceptable File Formats: Encapsulated Postscript,
(*.eps) or Adobe Acrobat, (*.pdf). Please save submitted *.pdf files in
"Prepress" setting to preserve highest resolution of images.
- Convert all text to outlines to eliminate font
incompatibility.
- All images should be submitted between 75
and 150 dpi at final output size. Do not submit images at higher resolution
as this will not render better output and will significantly increase production
time.
- Do not link objects or images to its target file.
All objects needed for any one file should be embedded in said file.
- Add a minimum of 3" to the left, right, top and
bottom of each file you plan to submit for output.
- Final file for each printed section of vehicle should
be one single rectangle PER FILE. Do not include vehicle template or any
other extraneous objects that are not to be printed as final output. For
example: if the driver side of the vehicle is 160" from bumper to bumper,
(assuming bumpers are to be wrapped), and 60" from extreme bottom of
printed area of vehicle to the roof, simply supply us with a final rectangle
of 166" x 66" as your final file. The extra 6" for width and height represent
the bleed mentioned in item 5.

- Submitting your files at full size is always most
convenient but if your application does not permit a page this size please
be sure to indicate, in written form, the exact multiplier needed to enlarge
your graphic to the correct final output size.
- We utilize the most state of the art rip and print
software for our printers and color accuracy is generally assured. However,
if you require exact color matching to your vector/line art objects, please
supply Morris Brothers with the exact Pantone needed BEFORE final files
are created and we will in turn supply you with the correct CMYK breaks for
your Pantone requests. All colors that need to be matched after files are
created and submitted will require extra matching and conversion time at a
potentially significant expense.
- Morris Bros. Signs could provide you with a
standard vehicle outline template based on Year, Make and Model of your
vehicle. (We do not guarantee that measurements are exact; Please
measure your vehicle from extreme bumper to bumper length for exact
specs)
- Files can be submitted through our FTP
site (contact us for details) or mail a Disk to:
